United Service Association For HealthCare (USA+) is a non-profit corporation chartered in Washington D.C. in 1983. In 1988 the USA+ membership program became one of the first group association benefit programs set up to provide the small business owner and employees with a quality benefits package previously available only to employees of large corporations. For years, large corporations have had a distinctive advantage over individuals and small business. For this reason, USA+ has taken thousands of individuals, families, and the self-employed and placed them into one large group. This way, you get the group buying power of a large company. Through the power of its national membership, USA+ is able to offer each member a comprehensive line of benefits that is affordable and easy to use.

USA+ is not an insurance company, nor is it meant to represent an insurance contract. USA+ is a healthcare benefits group program offered through a membership organization. USA+ administers the membership, but the vendors provide the benefits in the membership, not USA+. Membership includes access to both discounted services and insured benefits provided to members by group policies issued by insurance companies to the association. Membership is not based on a person's health status or any underwriting review. Members are entitled to receive member benefits by simply completing the enrollment form and paying the membership dues. When a member joins the association they have 29 days after the date of enrollment to cancel and receive a full refund of their dues and any enrollment fees. Otherwise, their membership will continue to be active as long as they pay the monthly membership dues. If a member does not pay the monthly dues in any given month, the member is not entitled to use or receive any member benefits.
